Seabright Resthome is a six (6) bed licensed Residential Care Facility providing residents with 24-hour supervision, personal care, and accommodations in a safe and supportive homelife environment.

Care Team members are responsible for contributing to the successful day to day operations of the Residential Care Facility.
As a part of our Care Team, you will;
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to residents.
- Support residents to “live well” by facilitating their personal/self-care and activities of daily living requirements, needs, and preferences.
- Meal preparation, cooking, and serving food and drinks and promote good hydration throughout the day.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by residents health provider(s).
- Undertake daily housekeeping duties by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents in both common areas and resident rooms.
Qualifications:
- CCA/PSW or candidates who have combination of experience and course completion are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related roles.
- Ability to provide resident-directed care with empathy and compassion.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and resident needs.
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and effective time management skills.
- The availability to work all shifts and have demonstrated consistent regular attendance in current and past employment.
- Recent geriatric experience is preferred.
In addition, all care team members must have a satisfactory Police Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check; either have or be willing to obtain and maintain a current certificate in standard first aid and CPR; have completed or be willing to complete a course in caring for clients having Alzheimer's/dementia and will undergo on the job orientation and training including medication awareness.
There is no public transit service in the area; therefore, must have your own reliable transportation.
