Suncrest College is currently accepting applications for a Cooking Instructor in the Hospitality and Food Services program. This is a term position from April 4, 2024 to May 31, 2024, for 2.5 days per week, in Kamsack, SK. This position is primarily responsible for teaching basic prep and cooking skills.
Requirements:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is the completion of Grade 12.
- Must possess a valid Food Safety Certificate.
- The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is five years cooking experience, which would ideally be obtained through operating a long-term catering business, or being a Journeyperson cook.
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
