About Common Loaf:

The Common Loaf Bake Shop was started in 1975. Since its inception, the Loaf has prided itself on cooking everything from scratch, using whole ingredients and sourcing those ingredients as much as possible from Vancouver Island. Everything we sell is made on the premises. We are looking for people who are willing to work hard, in a fast paced environment and have fun while doing it.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and serve a range of breakfast items, sandwiches and soup
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking.
- Plate and serve in an appealing manner.
- Clean and maintain equipment, utensils, and work area.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate schedules.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering setting is an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of different cutting techniques and methods.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients precisely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What We offer:
