Coordinator – Accounts Receivable
Reporting to the Team Lead, Account Receivable, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting Accounts Receivable processing for the Western Network.


Here is what a typical day looks like


  • Reviewing, identifying issues, and resolving disputes for A/R accounts
  • Collaborating with branch teams on challenging accounts and repayment options
  • Assessing past-due accounts and determining necessary action to resolve the account, including cancellation for nonpayment, assignment to 3rd party for collection or litigation if deemed necessary
  • Partnering with acquisitions according to Western’s guiding principles and code of conduct in order to provide equitable service and fair treatment to all clients and address any necessary training needs
  • Resolving disputed account balances including correcting errors, misapplied payments, and overpayment inconsistencies issues with cancellations.
  • Reviewing and approving write off up to $2,500.00, and preparing a detailed write-off summary for amounts exceeding the limit
  • Identifying gaps in processes that impact branches or client service and escalating issues as appliable to the Manager of Collection/Credit
  • Preparing and handling correspondence on delinquent accounts requiring special considerations
  • Coordinating with external collection agency and recommending accounts for write-off

The value you bring


  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar or comparable role
  • Relevant post-secondary course work is an asset
  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Organized and detailed orientated
  • Successfully partner and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong client focus and service skills

Hours: Full-time / 37.5 hour/week
Location: Remote within Canada

Compensation Range: $42,000 - $56,000
