Canada Summer Jobs Program
The Canada Summer Jobs Program (CSJP) is a program under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy, which aims to provide flexible and holistic services to help all young Canadians develop the skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labour market.
As a requirement of the CSJP:
- This position is open to youth up to 30 years of age
- Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada

Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator is a hands-on member of the Human Resources (HR) Department, providing administrative and HR support to the teams at Tourism Whistler, Visitor Centre, Whistler.com, and Whistler Golf Club. This position provides the opportunity to work in a positive and supportive team environment, and within a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Tourism Whistler ambassador, living our purpose and vision with passion & energy, achievement and respect
- Assist with companywide health and safety program and initiatives
- HR system (Dayforce) maintenance, including implementation support
- Administer and support with:
- Recruiting and onboarding of new employees
- Digitizing HR records
- Payroll administration
- Ensure company intranet (TWIT) is current and informative
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- Post-secondary education or equivalent related experience required
- High level of confidentiality, maturity, and professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus, interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Technical aptitude with proven computer skills
