Duties and responsibilities:
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating Provincial Training Programs for SaskAbilities staff members. The successful candidate will have flexibility and autonomy in designing and implementing Provincial Training needs for SaskAbilities.
Brief summary of duties includes:
- Analyze, design, develop and implement Training Programs for SaskAbilities - technical, professional and safety related.
- Plans and coordinates the delivery of Training Programs.
- Incorporates technological solutions for the delivery of training needs.
- Delivers targeted group and individual Training Programs based on needs assessments.
- Maintains, tracks and documents training records and procedures.
- Monitor current training certification dates and notifies reporting areas of staff member renewals.
Qualifications:
Education and experience:
- Undergraduate degree in adult education, human resources or business administration.
- At least 2 years previous experience with adult learning.
Skills:
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills for both in-person and remote delivery.
- Knowledge and skills in learning and development needs.
- Must be astute with the utilization and incorporation of technological solutions for the delivery and development of Training Programs.
- Understanding of Provincial legislation for occupational health and safety.
- Effective time management skills (many assigned tasks are time sensitive).
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
