Function SummaryReporting to the Director, Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management, this role is responsible for: Developing, implementing, and evaluating Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management initiatives across the organization. Coordinating the development, submission, and reporting for the annual organizational Quality Improvement Plan. Co-leading the Accreditation Canada accreditation process in conjunction with the Director, Quality Patient Safety and Risk Management. Collaborating with individuals and departments across the organization to support the Risk Assessment Checklist program. Providing project consultation and support. Conducting corporate-level clinical audits. Conducting education sessions on quality improvement and Risk Management (RM) methodology. Leading the patient experience survey process and providing both qualitative and quantitative analysis of results. Supporting the electronic incident reporting system (RIMS) and complaints/compliments management system. Supporting the organization in meeting the requirements under the Excellent Care for All Act. Ensuring that the organization meets the requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Participating in other approved activities necessary for the optimal functioning of the Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management Department.
