Stagewest Hospitality requires Corporate Controller for more than one property.
This position will be based in Medicine Hat, Alberta with some travel required to Calgary, Edmonton and Camrose.
The Controller’s role is to review financial data so that they can:
. Review and approve payables and payroll
. Help prepare monthly financial statements
. Prepare cash forecasts for the company – management of all deposits
. Knowledge of grants and new government programs for the hospitality industry
. With input from property management, prepare annual budgets
. Provide analysis, on a quarterly and annual basis, of budgets, with discussion with management
. Preparation of financial documents for year-end audits with external accountants
. Communication, and when necessary, training of accounting team
. Is required to be aware of all accounting procedures and is aware of provincial and federal regulations.
. Will advise and collaborate with VP of Operations and ownership
. Individual is required to have CPA designation, with 3 – 5 years experience in a senior role.
