Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and process payments using a POS system
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen area
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Follow company policies and procedures for food handling, preparation, and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Knowledge of food service procedures and standards
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar food service establishment is preferred
