Responsibilities:
· To be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Crew Members, the shop and the warehouse.
· To ensure all equipment is in good working order and to manage it.
· To purchase equipment and supplies as needed for jobs.
· To ensure all equipment is listed on the inventory list.
· To ensure cleanliness of equipment upon its return by Crew.
· To monitor Red Files to ensure maximum equipment is in place as per IICRC standards
o Ensure Red Files are neat so they are able to be scanned and uploaded
· To review pricing of equipment.
· To perform CAPE reports with Crew Members once a month and relay this information to the Office Coordinator
· To report mileage reports and costing for employees who use company vehicles.
o Collect vehicle mileage sheets weekly from employees and put in Paul Schmidt’s mail slot
o Vehicle reports must be completed monthly of each company car
o Fuel consumption reports must be completed monthly of each company car
· To ensure proper Crew Members are dispatched to specific jobs as per their credentials.
· To communicate with Vendors, Subtrades, and Suppliers to ensure the integrity of costing and communication are followed as per protocols.
· To monitor public image of facility including building, yard and vehicles.
Requirements:
- Full G License
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Strong knowledge of restoration processes, techniques, and materials
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Encircle
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively manage a large crew
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
