CROPPING OPERATOR

Cuddy Farms is seeking an individual who is ready to grow their career in agriculture. We are searching for a qualified and ambitious individual fill a full-time year-round position within our Cropping Division. Cuddy Farms not only produces turkeys but also grains and vegetables within the Strathroy area.

Essential job functions:

• Operate a variety of farm equipment in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner.
• Equipment maintenance, washing and repairs as required.
• General farm and shop work
• Defends Flock and Farm Biosecurity
• Other duties as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Agricultural equipment operation experience, preferable with knowledge of modern GPS systems
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays as needed,
• Must have the ability to make sound judgment and good decisions skills,
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve with farming equipment,
• Able to work independently and with others,
• AZ license an asset
