Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking a Cube Truck-Delivery Driver to join our roster. You will work out of our Wellington West and Black Road locations. Lyons Ltd has been part of the community since 1913 – today, we continue the tradition of being a family owned business serving Algoma as Island Timber Mart Kent’s Corner, Lyons Timber Mart Black Road, and Lyons Timber Mart Wellington.
The ideal candidate will find excitement in joining a team who provides customers with quality products, expert advice, and exceptional service.
**Must be available 7am Monday through Friday and rotating weekends
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver materials to job site and customers’ locations safely
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of the vehicle in a timely manner
- Provide customer service in the lumber yard
- Maintain daily driver logs and circle checks
- Confirm load and paperwork are accurate and well organized
- Keep the vehicle clean at all times
- Operate all vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain lumber yard to store standards
- Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Class G License with a clean drivers abstract (MVR) and CVOR Driver Abstract
- Three or more years of demonstrated safe G driving experience
- Friendly and positive individual with an attention to detail
- Team player with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and safely
- Forklift license would be an asset, but not required
