Customer Experience Associate

With over 40 years in business, Muskoka’s leading exterior decorating company is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to join our team, working in a fast-paced collaborative, challenging and rewarding environment. You must love customer service, be detailed oriented and professional, as you will be the first point of contact for all our new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
First point of contact, greeting customers either by phone or in person, while managing the reception desk, including but not limited to checking and forwarded voice and email messages.
This position also serves to support our sales departments through assisting and determining the needs of our customers that both, call in and come into our showroom.
Sending out product information and samples as required.
Maintaining both the showroom’s cleanliness and stock of over the counter products.
Forwarding customer invoices and statements.
Assist in the processing of payments.
Prepare and send out warranty packages.
This role also has a sales component to it, as you will support our retail division in our day to day product sales as demand requires.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Reliability is a must! This position will require a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual, who enjoys working with others and greatly understand the importance of top-notch customer service.
1 – 3 years of customer service experience/ administrative support.
Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset, but not required for the right candidate.
Experience in a sales role would be beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision, and part of a team with other staff.
Strong ability to take initiative, problem solve and make decisions within scope of job.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Hours of employment are Monday – Friday 7:30 to 4:30, with the occasional Saturday during peak seasons (with time in Lieu).
Remuneration: is based on an hourly wage budgeted at $700 to $750 weekly.
