ABOUT YOU

We are in search of an enthusiastic Service Ambassador to join our team! Our Service Ambassadors are a diverse team of individuals who possess an array of Customer Service and leadership skills to facilitate smooth operation of our busy practice. We are looking for an individual who cares deeply about customer satisfaction and values trust, respect, teamwork and enjoys being surrounded by others who have a similar goal.

POSITION CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed in a clinic environment
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Fast-paced work environment

Work hours:

  • Must be available to work flexible hours including some mornings, some evenings and some weekends.
  • The successful candidate must be available to be scheduled for a minimum of 25 hours per week, Monday through Sunday for shifts ranging from 5-6 hours in length.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of a Service Ambassador is to create an unforgettable wellness experience for our clients. This position requires important skills such as the ability to collaborate with other team members, the willingness to be analytical and prioritize key tasks, the desire to be detail-oriented and the confidence to implement critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum high school diploma, however post-secondary education in any field is an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience
  • Medical office experience is considered a strong asset

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow and complete the clinic opening/closing procedures
  • Serve clients by greeting, welcoming, and directing them enthusiastically
  • Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and current regulations
  • Schedule client appointments in person, over the telephone, by text message and email
  • Book new clients over the phone and ensure operational procedures are completed properly
  • Direct Bill a variety of health insurance plans for chiropractic and massage therapy clients
  • Contact new clients one day in advance of their appointment to remind them of their upcoming appointment
  • Collect and record clients’ personal and medical information
  • Check appropriate software to remind Doctors of client related tasks that need to be completed.
  • Act as a liaison between health care providers and clients by relaying accurate patient information in a timely manner
  • Scan and fax a variety of documents and save them to the appropriate files
  • Fax medical release requests to obtain copies of patient diagnostic imaging reports
  • Prepare insurance paperwork and documentation for patients who have ordered custom orthotics
  • Save reports from incoming faxes to the patient's file
  • Prepare treatment rooms prior to doctor shift changes
  • Other administrative duties as required

Established in 2008, The Chiropractic Wellness Studio has developed its reputation as a modern Health & Wellness Studio in North East Edmonton that is focused on helping clients to receive chiropractic and massage therapy in an environment which promotes relaxation, comfort and kindness. Providing an unforgettable customer experience is essential to our organization and we are focused on meeting the needs of our clients while providing exceptional value to each person and their family during every visit.

We currently employ an amazing team of 8 Chiropractors, 7 Massage Therapists and 10 Service Ambassadors. When we add new members to our team we are looking for those who value trust, respect, teamwork, continuous improvement and open communication.

We are located in Northeast Edmonton (Clareview) and to accommodate our clients’ busy lives and schedules, we are open 7 days per week with morning, evening and weekend appointments available.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
