We are currently looking for a Cybersecurity Project Managerfor our client.Our client has an ongoing need for an experienced and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Project Management resource to be a member of the team.
NOTE: This is a 100% ON-SITE Role in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Duties of the Resource will include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Develop the terms of the Detailed Project Plan in consultation with the Project Leadership Team.
- Produce the Project Plan and gain Project Sponsor approval.
- Ensure the project is undertaken in accordance with the standards, processes and documentation which follow Project Management Institute (PMI) standards.
- Produce deliverables on time, within budget and to specification ensuring project objectives are met.
- Ensure the work products and deliverables are completed in compliance with technical standards.
- Facilitate integration of project touch points (interconnections) across related projects if required.
- Monitor and report on project performance: scope, schedule, cost, and quality of project deliverables.
- Identify, monitor, and manage risks related to the delivery of the project.
- Provide timely communications and reporting regarding projects risks, issues and concerns to the team, Project Sponsors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate multi-stakeholder workshops, meetings and prepare presentations.
- Work collaboratively with Third Party Vendors and other Partners to include their delivery as part of the overall implementation plan.
- Develop project change requests (scope, time, and cost) while negotiating and sharing financial implications and/or impact with the Project Sponsor.
- Identify changes to resourcing requirements.
The ideal Cybersecurity Project Manager will have extensive experience at a senior level in:
- Demonstrated experience as a practicing Project Manager managing different, complex Cybersecurity Projects in an IT environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) PRINCE2 certification. (Copy of Certificate Required)
- Experience in government projects or comparable entities, as it relates to the technical and business landscape.
- Experience managing team resources, systems development, estimating effort and costs, and planning and scheduling project activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by experience working with all levels within an organization and understanding business priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Security technologies and framework. Examples - Microsoft Entra Identity and Access Management, Microsoft Defender for Endpoints (MDE), Microsoft Azure Firewall etc.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role, is a two (2) year contract engagement with a two-year extension if both parties are amenable. This work will be conducted on-site, in Regina, Saskatchewan.
