Dairy Equipment Route Sales

Job Summary: As part of an aggressive growth strategy, LDM (Lethbridge Dairy Mart) is seeking a Dairy Equipment Route Sales person for their Red Deer Location. Our dealership is one of the leading privately-owned dairy farming equipment dealerships in Canada and this individual will bring a great knowledge of dairy, livestock and agriculture to build the next phase of dealership business.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a tandem axle truck within designated area to deliver and sell products or render services of the dairy industry to customer's place. Class 3 license required.
• Write orders and instructions, prepare order forms and sale orders
• Inform regular customers about new products and promotions
• Listen to and resolve service complaints
• Maintain record of each transaction and submit that in office
• Maintain proper inventory in route trailer, set up display shelves and keep everything tidy and organized
• Keep track of sold and unsold inventory. Maintain communication with Parts Manager.
• Willing to work in any kind of weather conditions.
• Basic troubleshooting and servicing of dairy milking equipment (including parlors and robots). Company and manufacture training will be provided.
• Any other required duties assigned by management.

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and follow through skills
• Exceptional Verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and attention to detail and confidentiality
• Class 3 or 1A is an asset.
• Must have some previous experience in Route Truck Sales

Competitive wages are offered. Benefit package will be available after a 3 month probation period.

Salary will be based on experience and personal interview.
