Job description :
Under the supervision of the Purchasing Director, the jobholder has significant experience in purchasing activities, and is skilled in dealing with suppliers and manufacturers, both in North America and internationally.
Here's your day-to-day
- Keep our price lists, products and catalogs up to date;
- Maintain and improve product catalogs;
- Work as a team with the Purchasing and IT Director's to correct any errors in our catalogs (price lists);
- Communicate with suppliers and maintain good business relations;
- Ensure the efficiency of the purchasing process;
- Establish and review daily priorities according to needs;
- Request quotations;
- Enter, verify, sort and file data or information;
- Ensure that all products in the system are properly categorized, described and that SDS sheets are accessible;
- Ensure good communication both with external partners and internal collaborators in other departments;
- Work closely with team members and support them in their day-to-day tasks.

- DEC in Procurement, Accounting and Management or related program of study, or equivalent combination of education and experienc
- A minimum of 2-5 years experience in the same role, or any equivalent combination of experience;
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English;
- Comfortable with the main Excel functions;
- Basic knowledge of other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Sense of responsibility and autonomy;
- Good organizational skills, thoroughness and ability to manage priorities;
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
- Goal-oriented (action- and results-oriented);
- Conscientious and attentive to detail;
- Adaptability: willingness to change priorities;
- Experience in a similar position in a distribution center (ASSET);
- Excellent knowledge and experience in the automotive field, ideally in bodywork (ASSET);
- Experience with an in-house system (ASSET).
