Supervisor: Environmental Services Supervisor

Location: Environmental & Dietary Services - The John M. Parrott Centre

Hours of Work: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

Salary Range: $49,613.20 to $58,021.60 (2023 rate) per year plus a comprehensive benefit package

Closing Date: April 4, 2024

The John M. Parrott Centre is a fully accredited state-of-the-art, 168 bed long term care home, owned and operated by the County of Lennox and Addington, in the Town of Greater Napanee. The John M. Parrott

Centre offers free parking, safe work environment and upgraded technology. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic person for the position of Data Information Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Two year Office/Business Administration Diploma
    • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administrative role, with a focus on data or inventory management
  • Superior computer skills including spreadsheet and database management and presentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILILITES OF THE POSITION:

  • Prepare information to support reporting, decision making and auditing requirements
  • Respond to general routine inquiries as directed by the Supervisor
  • Meeting support (scheduling, preparing and circulation of agendas/minutes, minute taking)
  • Provide clerical support to the Continuous Quality Improvement and Joint Health & Safety Committees.
  • Complete audits as requested (e.g. pleasurable dining, quality, IPAC cleaning, etc.)
  • Update and distribute policy changes
  • Gather and prepare documentation for Environmental and Dietary teams and distribute correspondence
  • Inventory management inclusive of ordering supplies and maintaining inventory databases
  • Maintain and distribute forms, documentation packages, labels, production sheets, bed change lists, etc.
  • Assist with special project planning
  • Support staff with technical guidance
  • Maintain fire and emergency exercise documentation
  • Data input to support tracking needs
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Satisfactory attendance record, subject to the requirements of the Ontario Human Rights Code
