The Stella Collective is a passionate hospitality & events company located in the heart of St.Jacobs, ON. The collective owns and operates multiple wedding venues in the area, including an innovative catering company, Gilt Catering, at each venue and others in the KW region. We are experts at events and simply love what we do. We are seeking more enthusiastic members that also have a passion for the events industry to join our team!

We focus on the smooth flow of events and guests' experience from the planning process to day-of execution. Our primary focus is weddings - extra care and love is essential for this job as this is one of our clients most important days of their lives. The Position. We are seeking an eager, friendly and positive individual to join our coordination and leadership team. Experience in the events or service industry and/or education in events planning is an asset. We request that all our event leads and coordinators are multi-faceted in all parts of running an event and will be trained as such (timeline development, processionals, service, planning, payments, bar, bar back,). Wages are competitive and we do offer benefits.

Responsibilities. Our perfect candidate would be responsible for pre-planning using our tools and set standards, day-of executing of events at multiple venues, including off-site venues in the KW and surrounding area. Our candidate will also be responsible for catering services (management of servers/bartenders, expos, menu development). The candidate will be working under a highly experienced and fun team of coordinators training on all aspects of their positions. You will work on timelines, tools and execution folders, coordinating with vendors and our boutique hotel, coordinating with couples and help with upkeep of the venues. Our ideal candidate will be highly personable with experience in customer service and the hospitality industry.
