Delivery Driver

On The Rocks is an ice distribution company operating under the Simply Pure brand. With over 10 years of experience in the distribution industry, On The Rocks is committed to product quality, punctual deliveries and maintaining excellent relationships with staff, customers and suppliers. On The Rocks is currently looking for a driver to perform deliveries who is both responsible and efficient.

As an On The Rocks driver, you will be responsible for:

• Arriving at the delivery vehicle’s location at a specified time, checking the delivery vehicle and filling out a pre-trip inspection.
• Driving to the ice provider’s location and helping the ice provider’s staff loading ice into the vehicle.
• Driving to customer locations, find suitable parking, practice excellent customer service, load products into the assigned freezers and leave a clean environment before returning to the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, meaning filling out invoices and managing cash, and reporting discrepancies or issues that may arise.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain communication with management throughout the day.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.

The On The Rocks driver qualifications:

• A clean driver’s abstract.
• At least a Class 5 driver’s license.
• Be self-managed and responsible.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Have a basic understanding of technology. (Cellphone and computer use)
• Be able to lift 50 pounds consecutively throughout the work day.
• Prioritize punctuality as deliveries need to be done in a very specific time frame.
• Having previous experience in a similar role as a Delivery Driver is preferred but not required.

Salary: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week

• delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
