Delivery Driver & Yard Coordinator - Part-Time

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for delivering equipment, as well as ensuring the facility and yard is kept orderly by completing the following:

• Loading and unloading deliveries of equipment
• Performing pre-trip inspections on equipment loads, while ensuring safety and roadworthiness prior to leaving the store with the load
• Delivery of Large Agriculture and Small Turf products
• Manually handling heavy loads and weight – handle up to 23kg (50 pounds)
• Checking all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Performing facility & Yard maintenance. Including cleaning of showroom, offices and washroom.
• Organizing displays of equipment in the yard
• Complying with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, and occupational health and safety
• This position works year round, 2-3 days per week

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid A/Restricted A (or willingness to obtain) drivers license with a clear driving abstract
• 2 years of experience would be preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift, training will be provided
• Experience with Agricultural machinery would be an asset
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexible to work schedule and extended hours
