Delivery Driver/Junior Tech

Role Summary:

The Installer/Delivery Driver at Macdonald's is responsible for the safe and thorough delivery and installation of equipment for rentals, demos and purchases. They will build skills to develop the technical ability to perform basic repairs on various types of mobility aids and home medical equipment. This role is an entry-level position with room to grow and advance into a Rehab Service Technician.

Requirements:

• Entry/basic level Microsoft Office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency
• Mechanical aptitude and ability/desire to work with tools
• Must hold a valid class 5 BC driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
• Ability to work without supervision
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, which include bending, lifting heavy equipment throughout the day up to 100 lbs
• Ability to effectively manage time and communicate with clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering, setting up, and installing equipment within a client’s home and/or facility. Equipment includes wheelchairs, hospital beds, lifts, and pediatric equipment such as strollers and standers
• Setting up and inspecting equipment
• Completing paperwork accurately
• Ensuring the correct return of equipment, following Macdonald’s HHC procedures
• Assisting with warehouse duties including cleaning and return of equipment
• Driving for extended periods
