Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in dental assisting and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic lab tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental radiography
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics and CAD/CAM technology is a plus
- Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Epic) is beneficial

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
