- Operate the DES Line, to include start-up, operation, preventative maintenance, and quality
- Perform full preventative maintenance and minor repairs at the DES line
- Feed and catch cores on the DES line as needed
- Demonstrate use of the gage measuring equipment and pass certifying reliability test
- Verify product from the DES line per the Internal Line Width Instruction or customer specification
- Perform process quality checks at the DES line
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on the DES line with assistance
- Operate handling equipment
- Read and interpret shop order to verify that all previous operations were completed, to verify count, and to verify quality
- Able to enter jobs and quality information in the touch system
- Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace
- Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately
- Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the extent necessary to perform the job
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift 30 pounds without straining
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
