For 50+ years RAM has served North American customers with custom engineered and manufactured hydraulic cylinders. We are currently seeking a new full time Engineer / Design Technologist to join the Ram Engineering team in Yorkton, SK.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or technical diploma in the mechanical engineering field
- 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, hydraulic experience would be an asset
- Effective planning and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task projects, with an above average attention to accuracy and detail
- Must be able to work well within a team environment
- Experience with Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems would be an asset
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with Customers to determine their requirements
- Providing technical product information and support to Customers, Production and Sales
- Cylinder design including layouts, 3D modeling, production drawings, bill of material creation and calculating labor requirements
- Providing accurate quotations to Customers
- Communication with vendors to source required components
- Other duties as assigned
