SalaryJOB POSTING; Sylvan Lake Foundation has an opening for a Part Time Night Position on a rotating schedule.
JOB FUNCTION: The Night Position is responsible for the operation of the Lodge between the hours of midnight and 8 am. She/He is directly responsible to the Dietary Coordinator regarding food preparation and resident safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for using safe work procedures and comply with rules and regulations in accordance with our Occupational health and Safety Program
- For the security of the lodge
- For the health and safety of the residents
- To function as a member of the Team working with the department Coordinators, staff, and residents to provide a pleasant work environment.
- For displaying a professional manner at work
- For documentation and communication of all problems
- To assist the Cooks by baking, cleaning etc according to Job Details
- To act quickly and calmly during emergencies
- To organize workload to finish on time.
- For acceptable attendance record
- For other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good health with no history of problems that would affect job performance.
- WHMIS, Food Safe and Emergency First Aid Certificates
- A mature, flexible willing and positive work ethic
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and problem-solving skills essential
- High standard of hygiene and personal appearance
- Related experience working with Seniors.
SALARY: According to Union Scale
