Job Description: This Clinical Dietitian position works as a member of the Interdisciplinary team providing service to the in patient Pediatric population. This senior position will provide clinical supervision and mentorship to the dietitians.
Required Qualifications
Accredited Dietetic Internship
Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Experience
Preference will be given to the candidates who have Pediatric Clinical Dietitian experience with acute care medical patients in a hospital setting. Preference will be given to applicants with Acute Care Pediatric Clinical Dietitian experience. Experience with Nutrition Support will be considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills
Knowledge of the health region and community resources
Other Information
Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
