Job Description: AS A MEMBER OF THE PARKLAND INTEGRATED HEALTH CENTRE CARE TEAM, THE DIETITIAN WORKS TO PROMOTE SOUND NUTRITIONAL CARE PRACTICE FOR ACUTE CARE CLIENTS AND LONG TERM RESIDENTS. HE/SHE INTEGRATES EVIDENCE BASED CLINICAL GUIDELINES AND BEST PRACTICES WHEN PROVIDING DIET COUNSELING, DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING FACILITY MENUS OR NUTRITION CARE PLANS, THEREBY HELPING TO ENSURE THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY NUTRITION SERVICES WITHIN THE FACILITY.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Experience
A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to effectively counsel and work with individuals, families, and groups
Ability to work independently to plan and organize work load demands
Analytical skills
Computer skills including Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheets, email and internet
Effective oral and written communication skills
56 hours of work in a 3 week rotation.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member.
