Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if necessary
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or nursing is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care and patient care practices
- Familiarity with home care and nursing home settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Experience in dementia care is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to caregiving
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately
