JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, Community Living Operations, as a senior manager, provide leadership in the vision and values of Community Living while ensuring the provision of quality support services for people who have an intellectual disability and their families. Responsible for supervision of a team of managers and staff, direction of financial decisions including budgets and other resources while overseeing the range of supports and services provided. The incumbent will represent the Agency on community committees, liaise with external agencies and professionals and ensure the agency policies and procedures are followed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Graduation, with a minimum three (3) year degree/diploma in a human service field of study, at the post-secondary level.
2.A minimum of seven (7) years experience working with people who have an intellectual disability and/or in a related human service field. Minimum of three (3) years management experience.
3.Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills are required. First Aid/CPR certification, Class G drivers license and access to an automobile. Other training including Pharmacology, Safe Management, KARE, and computer knowledge in word processing will be considered assets.
