Leads and oversees Credit Card Embedded Benefits & Scene+ Partnerships team for Canadian Banking in Canada ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
 
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
 
-Lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
-Manage Scene+ loyalty partner integration within Credit Cards, driving Credit Card portfolio growth through new partner sales channels and cardholder value through added partner benefits
-Lead Scene+ Card Partnerships including: partner acquisition channels and marketing, strategic card growth initiatives, program monitoring and reporting, partner business reviews and annual planning
-Support the Canadian Banking Loyalty & Partnerships team in Scene+ program growth and evaluating new opportunities
-Oversee core Credit Card embedded benefits delivered through third party vendors (ie: Embedded Card Insurances, Airport Lounge, Concierge).  Manage vendor/partner contracts, SLA’s, operational performance and strategic initiatives.
-Be responsible for managing P&L impacts related to all vendor & loyalty partner relationships, including; budget/expense management, annual planning and ongoing forecasts
-Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
-Create an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations of the respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. 
-Build a high performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team.
 
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
 
-7+ years’ experience in credit cards and/or payments
-Recognized and resilient team leader skills who inspires a results oriented customer-centric culture
-Exceptional business planning, product strategy development and project execution skills
-Customer focused mindset 
-Proven relationship management skills with demonstrated seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders
