Director, Executive Digital Experience

With a focus on senior leadership (SVP+) and their support staff, the Director, Executive Digital Experience will play a key role in supporting the use and adoption of technology including mobile, collaboration and productivity tools and enhancing the customer experience using technology. The Director will lead dedicated teams with overall accountability for all technology requirements and support for Executive leadership. In addition to deskside support, the Director will also have accountability for ensuring the day-to-day AV needs in Executive spaces are delivered at the highest-level including support for live events and webcasts hosted by senior leadership.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Supporting Scotiabank Executives with the adoption of mobility, collaboration and productivity tools through education and training on the benefits of technology and its application within the organization
• Improving the overall awareness and usage of technology applications across bank by understanding Executive use cases and adapting technology capabilities to fulfill expectations
• Ensuring reliability of technology for our Executives by understanding pain points and driving improvements with internal infrastructure teams and external vendors
• Ensuring the customer experience in Scotiabank event spaces is consistently delivered at the highest level by creating a centre of AV expertise
• Ensuring day to day technology deskside support is completed with a high level of efficiency and professionalism for the Bank's senior leadership including executive and board meetings.
• Managing the execution of board of director related requests related to access and control and technology standards
• Ensuring AV and meeting room technology standards are aligned to the Bank's strategic direction
• Ensure the execution and delivery of technology initiatives and projects related to senior leadership

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

• Degree and proven IT experience with an emphasis on business applications.
• 10 to 15 years of IT and/or business industry work experience, which includes at least 3 years of experience in managing teams or projects. Typically requires advanced technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines, technologies, and processes.
• Must have expertise in very complex business and technical processes and their implications across the enterprise.
• Must have expertise in project management disciplines/protocols.
• The ideal candidate should have the following:
  • Expert knowledge of Bank processes
  • Expert knowledge of Bank's major/key business units.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank's hardware and software deployments
  • Thorough knowledge of emerging technology trends and application to banking
  • Working knowledge of Bank technology infrastructure
