What is the Opportunity?
As Director, Marketing Effectiveness & Data Insights you will be responsible for developing insights & reports to support the Communications & Marketing team, enabling them to make more data-driven decisions.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about deriving actionable insights from data, will lead on integrating digital and marketing platforms and build a “one-client view” through dashboards and data visualisation.
The ideal candidate will build our analytics from the ground up, set KPI's, have a deep understanding of tracking and conversion points with test & learn approach to optimising our marketing initiatives.
What will you do?
- Be able to demonstrate how you have improved the approach to analytics and insights at previous businesses you’ve worked for, helping to shape strategy and develop underlying data capabilities
- Collaborate closely with team members within Communications & Marketing to identify key metrics to develop data-driven strategies that align with business and marketing objectives
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques to optimise marketing campaigns, measure performance, and uncover insights that enhance lead generation and client engagement opportunities
- Provide insights into client behaviour through analysis of end-to-end online journeys
- Be converse in the relevant regulatory frameworks that govern the use of data within a financial services landscape, with a robust approach to data integrity, privacy and compliance
What do you need to succeed?
- Extensive marketing analytics experience, as well as experience leading and managing a team
- Excellent analytical skills - evidence of successful delivery of data-driven web analysis and recommendations to drive forward digital performance
- Proficient in tools like Google Analytics 360, GA4, GTM
- Experience with Salesforce dashboards and integration of data points
- Previous experience with A/B, multivariate & personalisation testing e.g. Optimizely, Google Optimise
- Strong data visualisation skills/excellent knowledge of BI & reporting tools
- High attention to data integrity across channels
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand and fulfil reporting and insight needs
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage and work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns
