Role and Objectives:

The Director of Technology is responsible for driving innovation and aligning technology with business goals within our organization. This senior position requires strong strategic thinking, innovation leadership, and technology management skills. Collaborating closely with the IT Manager and ERP Manager, the Director oversees the effective deployment and utilization of Technology systems and resources. They provide strategic guidance in data analytics and systems integration efforts to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives. Additionally, the Director stays informed about emerging technologies, maintaining a competitive edge by staying up to date on industry trends and advancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives and long-term growth, ensuring effective deployment, maintenance, and utilization of Technology systems and resources.
  • Lead the execution of strategic technology projects, collaborating with the IT Manager, ERP Manager, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Ensure strategic guidance is provided in cybersecurity, data analytics, and systems integration efforts, aligning technology solutions with business objectives and priorities, and taking accountability for their effectiveness and alignment.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to assess their potential impact on the organization and drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to technology, data security, and privacy.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the technology team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Manage the technology budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize return on investment.
  • Spearhead the evaluation, and adoption of emerging technologies, fostering strategic partnerships with external vendors and industry experts to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development, publishing, and maintenance of the organization’s information architecture as well as a roadmap for its future development.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the technology team, aligning technology initiatives with overall business strategy to support organizational growth and success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of direct work experience in an IT leadership role.
  • Demonstrated senior leadership with strong strategic thinking, innovation, and technology management skills.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Successful leadership of strategic technology projects, system design and development, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Expertise in providing strategic guidance in cybersecurity, data analytics, and systems integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance and driving innovation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
  • Strong collaboration with internal clients for change management initiatives.
  • Effective management of Technology budgets and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Compensation Package:

  • SALARY: $125,000 to $160,000
