Woolwich Community Health Centre (WCHC), located in beautiful St. Jacobs with satellite locations in Wellesley and Linwood requires a full-time leader for the Primary Care Team. The Director, Primary Care participates within the inter-disciplinary team and is responsible for maintaining the efficient daily functioning of all clinical services at the WCHC sites (St Jacobs, Wellesley and Linwood).

Qualifications:

• Master’s level degree from a recognized university in business, public health or social service administration, or a combination of a relevant undergraduate degree with significant senior management experience.
• Thorough knowledge and proficiency in all levels of health service/program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated commitment to knowledge of community participation and community-based health systems.
• Sound knowledge and application of human resource management.
• General knowledge of budgeting, financial monitoring and reporting.
• Political perceptiveness skills including ability to work with partner agencies and funders.
• Ability to work potential evenings as required by the program.
• Ability to obtain a Police Vulnerable Sector Check satisfactory to the CHC.
• Ability to support and demonstrate Community Health Centre values.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Solid knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and clinical risk management.
• Political perceptiveness skills including ability to work with partner agencies and funders.
• Ability to support the Executive Director

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary commensurate with experience: $80,000 to $94,000
• 4 weeks paid vacation
• 18 Sick Days per year
• 10 Professional Development days per year
• Enrolment in Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
