The Director of Teck’s ERP, reporting to the CIO, will be responsible for leading all aspects of the strategy, design, implementation and ongoing sustainment of the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mining industry and will be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional Corporate and Operations teams to ensure alignment with the company’s business objectives.

Responsibilities
-Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental policies and procedures
-Develop, implement, and maintain an ERP strategy that aligns with the Teck's business objectives
-Lead all aspects of the implementation and ongoing sustainment of the ERP system
-Work effectively with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and specifically with Finance, Human Resources, Health and Safety, Mine Operations (Maintenance, Asset Management)
-Lead the ERP team and provide leadership and guidance to team members
-Ensure the ERP system is operating efficiently and optimally including key decisions on the balance of resource distribution (employees, contractors, consultants, manager service providers)
-Identify areas for improvement and build solutions to improve the highly coordinated ERP system
-Foster and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators
-Own an array of key 3rd partners across delivery and sustainment
-Reporting to Senior management and Board as the need arises
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or a related field
-Experience leading large cross functional teams and budgets
-Proficient in Software development lifecycles, agile, release management, organizational change
-10+ years of experience in ERP implementation and management
-Prior experience in the mining industry is preferred
-Strong leadership and management skills
-Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
-Spanish speaking proficiency is beneficial to have

Salary Range: $187,000 - $230,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
