The Stone Crock is an independently owned and operated hospitality group of restaurants and food shops located in Waterloo Region that includes: Jacobs’s Grill, the Stone Crock Bakery, The Butcher and Market, Fat Sparrow Catering and Events and The Pub.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Properly set up dish machine to be operated during meal periods, including checking chemical levels.
- Rinsing, scraping, and washing all dishes, glassware, and cutlery and properly handling and storing all items.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the entire dish machine and dish pit areas by sweeping and mopping kitchen floor and emptying and cleaning trash containers when needed.
- Must be able to work under some pressure as work can pile up during busy times.
- Other duties as assigned by the kitchen mangers and supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to endure long hours standing and walking.
- Must be able to continually lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 40-50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, lift, and carry items for extended periods of time.
- Act in accordance with all policies, procedures, dress code, and health and safety issues in accordance with OHSA, WSIB programs, fire regulations and health department requirements.
