Symphony Senior Living is currently seeking part-time Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper with a caring heart. We will teach you our systems, programs and philosophy. However, we cannot teach compassion and empathy, so you will demonstrate those to us in an interview process.

Job Requirements:
Under the direction of the Food Services Coordinator or designate, the Dishwasher is responsible for the fast and effective cleaning of all kitchen utensils, dishware, glassware and pots, and ensuring the kitchen area remains clean and tidy. Setting the dining room for the next meal. Assisting with the dinner service by serving coffee, tea, coup and the main entry. The ability to work well alone and within a team environment is essential.

· Must be able to communicate in English (written, verbal, reading) to a minimum High School Level. French language skills are an asset.

· Due to our high level of residents with dementia; your tattoos and piercings must either remained covered by clothing or are discrete. Any other external body decoration, including hair, must not be frightening to a frail senior with dementia.
· You must be legally allowed to work in Canada
· You must be in good physical health as this job requires lifting, sitting, standing and walking.
· Must be available to work every second weekend.
· Successful candidate must COVID vaccinated
· Should there be an outbreak, must be able to carry out their duties.
