- 1. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen hallway, and dock area.
- 2. Move stacked dishes from restaurant to dish room on trolley in a safe manner.
- 3. Break down trays, set up dish machine, sort dishes, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.
- 4. Soak and scrub pots and pans and put away in proper storage places.
- 5. Ensure all dishes are cleaned properly
- 6. Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside
- 7. Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
- 8. Wipe down and clean leaving dish room clean at end of shift.
- 9. Sweep and mop floors at end of each shift.
- 10. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
- 11. Must know and understand GHS and wear PPE. Complete GHS training.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with co workers. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
