Job Duties
- Genuine commitment to the company's goals and values. Coaches all team members and leaders to work towards a common company objective.
- Responsible for the district's monthly weekly and quarterly revenue and profit results
- Oversees Store Managers to ensure that labour targets are met, daily, weekly, and monthly
- Regular review sales data and metrics and strategic plans using KPIs to achieve sales targets
- Promptly provides direction and leadership to the retail team
- Provide leadership and support for all direct reports to ensure they excel in their roles
- Maintains a positive collaborative working relationship with the team, support team and all stakeholders
- A steward for all health and safety policies and procedures
- Recruit, train and develop store team members and leaders
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and educate them on responsible cannabis use
- P&L Responsibility and accountability
- Manage and evaluate ways to improve inventory controls and reduce loss
- Is available to assist in any emergencies to provide support and guidance as needed
- Solution-driven to overcome any, and all operational challenges that may arise
- Carries out training and development initiatives as prescribed by the organization
- Maintains a strong and collaborative relationship with all business partners
- Attends Store and Head office meetings as required
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years multi-unit experience in a similar scope of role with sales and customer service experience in retail or hospitality with extensive customer-facing interaction
- Pre-employment Criminal Record Check
- Provincial Certification Required
- Desire and ability to develop a positive in-depth understanding of cannabis
- Ability to interact with customers diplomatically and professionally at all times
- Good understanding of data platforms; excel, POS, etc.
- Ability to travel regionally and locally 70% of the time
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 20lbs regularly
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
