Dock Attendant

Located on the beautiful Toronto Islands, we are a 250+ slip marina, equipped with a fuel dock, restaurant, plus a private tender service that runs from Queens Quay & York Street directly to the marina.

Our Dock Attendants will provide excellent customer service, while also acting as ambassadors to the Toronto Islands. They are responsible for working as a team to fuel vessels, maintain the property's cleanliness and jump in to help wherever needed.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain the clean standards of the marina property
• Fueling of vessels and pumping out holding tanks
• Comply with all Technical Standards and Safety Authority regulations regarding the safe operation of a fueling dock
• Assist vessels in docking and casting off
• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the marina
• Maintain a safe environment for customers and staff
• Assist with tender as needed
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be available to work flexible hours throughout the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Experience in a marine environment or working near water is an asset
• Pleasure Craft Operator Card is an asset
• First Aid Certification is an asset
• Customer service experience
• Team player, but also able to work well independently

Expected start date:
Between April 15th – 30th
