The Document Control Administrator position requires general understanding of company operations, and organization procedures. Assignments typically require computer skills in word processing and spreadsheet software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produces Engineering documentation manuals;
- Compiles, files, and scans large volumes of documentation;
- Maintains incoming vendor and Engineering-supplied documentation;
- Ensures current master copies of company documents are maintained and available;
- Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents;
- Reproduces documents as required;
- Provides primary administrative support to Engineers in relation to Operating Manuals;
- Data base entry and maintenance of Visual Manufacturing system;
- Conducts quality checks of electronic files;
- Handles general software duties;
- Provide reception, mail and travel planning coverage as required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration from a recognized program
- 2+ years’ office administration experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of staff and management as well as external clients
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize according to strict deadlines
- Eye for detail and attention to accuracy
- Motivated team player with excellent communication skills
