Battlefords Victim Services is a non-profit organization that works in collaboration with the RCMP to provide assistance to victims of crime and traumatic events. This position is located in the North Battleford RCMP Detachment and is responsible to ensure the delivery of quality service to clients within the North Battleford RCMP and Cut Knife RCMP Detachment areas, as well as the service area of the North Battleford Domestic Violence Treatment Option Court.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide support to victims of crime and traumatic events
- Maintain and regularly update client files
- Supporting victims through the Criminal Justice System, as well as the Domestic Violence Treatment Options Court
- Deliver public awareness and educational presentations
- Provide 24/7 on-call support in a given
Qualifications:
- Related Post-Secondary Education
- Successful completion of the Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance with the RCMP
- An understanding of the dynamics of Domestic Violence
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required
- Valid Drivers License and ability to travel within program area
