As the Driver Records Processing Clerk, you will ensure information is inputted and updated accurately and efficiently onto the driver record to meet established service standards. In the role, you will respond to roadside enquiries from law enforcement regarding driver’s licence status, and respond to enquiries from government agencies, the courts and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:- Input driving history from out-of-province and out-of-country driver abstracts for Driver Safety Rating (DSR) purposes.
- Prepare letters for new Manitoban drivers when their previous driver’s licence is suspended in another jurisdiction.
- Prepare suspension letters for out-of-province administrative suspensions.
- Input suspensions, restrictions, prohibitions and convictions on Driver Records using the Driver Licensing System and DLS Transaction Entry system, while ensuring the change is accurate by referencing other systems.
- Process corrections to the driver record as indicated on reports or as directed by internal departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One-year practical experience in an office environment.
- Communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to various audiences
- Works independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate problem solving skills.
- Works with accuracy and attention to detail.
