SalaryAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Reinsurance business development group, given the opportunity to embark on an exciting opportunity which includes learning the business from the ground up, under the mentorship of a senior leader. You will gain valuable experience supporting both client and internal projects:
- 4 months paid program;

What the day will look like
The successful candidate will join the Analytics - Rating Agency Division, providing financial analysis and technical expertise for Canadian and International insurers, as well as support to our professional reinsurance brokers. We strive to recruit a diverse group of professionals who offer varying experiences, backgrounds and strengths to ensure we can continue to offer the most innovative solutions to our clients.
- Analysis of insurance industry statistics and trends;
- Financial Analysis of Minimum Capital Testing - Canadian Insurance Regulatory - Stress Testing;
- Rating Agency: Capital Adequacy Analysis - Stress Testing;
- Research and development of P&C industry and rating agency data and models;
- Updating Excel and Access based financial analytical tools.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Enrolled in Risk and Management Insurance, Science, Mathematics or Business or other related fields.
- The successful candidate will have completed a minimum of three academic years and co-op work terms;
- Be a self-starter who can operate efficiently as a member of a professional team;
- Strong knowledge of the P&C Insurance environment and experience with Excel is required;
- Experience using database applications and familiarity with VBA would be an asset;
