Early Childhood Preschool Educator

Wages are paid in accordance with the Newfoundland Labrador Early Childhood Educator Wage Grid.

Additional Incentives at our Center accumulated paid sick days, flexibility for appointments, and Educator of the month.

Responsibilities/ Requirements and Qualifications

*To provide a positive atmosphere for children, families and all employees involved in our Centre.

*Excellent communication skills.

*Help plan and implement activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of all children.

*Responsible for the security and safety of all children.

*Responsible for the care, hygiene, learning, and developmental activities.

* Ability to communicate directly with parents regarding their child’s accomplishment and daily activities during arrival and departures.

*Maintain an environment (both indoors and outdoors) that is clean and inviting at all times.

· Must maintain confidentiality at all times.

· Must be a team player, dependable and reliable.

Education/ Knowledge

· Early Childhood Education with level 1-4 Certificate through AECENL.

Credentials (certificates, licenses, courses, etc.)

*CPR and Emergency First Aid Certificate.

*Copy of Immunization record.

*Certificate of Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Check.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.06-$35.09 per hour
