Apprentice Electrician – (2nd – 3rd year)

ANSER Power Systems is an Abbotsford based company involved in electrical contracting and power generation. Our primary area of expertise is in the agricultural industry, where we have provided electrical work for dairy farms, poultry farms, and industrial processing facilities. We have also worked in other industries, completing projects like educational institutions, low rise apartments, and even aircraft hangars. The diversity in the projects we take on presents our electricians with an interesting work environment and learning opportunities to help them grow in their careers. Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specification to plan wiring layouts
• Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment; such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels
• Installation of conduit systems, cabling and devices
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty parts
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be in a program progressing towards a Certified Electrical ticket
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Own a complete set of hand tools
• Registered through ITA

Job Status

· Full-time - Permanent

· Wage is dependent on qualifications and level of experience
