Electrical Designer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing electrical systems for various projects. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

```Responsibilities```
- Design electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects
- Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project needs
- Assist in the development of project specifications and cost estimates
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes
- Perform calculations to determine electrical loads, voltage drop, and circuit sizing
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integration of electrical systems with mechanical, structural, and architectural components
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on constructability, functionality, and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, regulations, and best practices

```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit
- Knowledge of electrical design principles and practices
- Familiarity with logic controllers and building automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes
- Experience with drafting software such as Bluebeam or NavisWorks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients

Salary: $53,941.54-$111,310.52 per year
