SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Electrical Construction Services, the Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading and building up our installation team. Other duties include reviewing specs, blueprints, monitor project changes, estimate labour and material requirements for projects and ensure delivery is within scope, budget and requirements as required.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to.
• Organize and supervise foreman and electricians to meet project goals, timelines and performance expectations in an effective and efficient manner.
• Plan and oversee the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders (internal & external).
• Manage costs, risk management and quality control of projects.
• Determine resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.
• Identify project risks, develop, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
• Prepare change orders with changes to scope of work.
• Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

• 5-10 Years electrical experience in a construction, retro fit environment.
• 2-5 years experience with building automation systems, low voltage controls, mechanical wiring.
• Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Great attitude with a desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Must have excellent conflict resolution, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office applications in particular – MS Project, MS Excel, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applications
• Valid drivers licence.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

• Licenced Electrician 309A.
• Master’s Licence is an asset.
• PMP Certification or demonstrates an interest in pursuing Project Management Professional Accreditation is an asset.

Salary: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
