We are an equipment company that does the "non-normal". We sell, install, repair, adn maintain automotive and industrial spraybooths, compressors, and Mig welders. Summary

The Electrical/Mechanical Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining Automotive and industrial spray booths, compressors, and Mig welders. The Electrical/Mechanical Installer will ensure all required tools, parts and supplies are available for each job performed; will complete required service records; and will be responsible for recommending and/or initiating equipment modifications and/or replacement of components. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.

Job Duties

  • Assist with service calls.
  • Troubleshoot issues with spray booths, compressors, and welders.
  • Repair and/or replace components.
  • Make recommendations for replacement or modification of equipment.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment.
  • Interact with clients.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Suggest replacement parts/components.
  • Respond to internal and external queries.
  • Ensure that required tools, parts and supplies are available for each job performed.
  • Ensure that a high degree of standardization is met with all contracts.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior team-members.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge and experience using hand tools.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and procedures.
  • Self motivated, strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Able to interact effectively with management, the public and staff.
  • Understanding of the industry and area of service.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Experience with spraybooths, compressors, and/or welder repairs considered an asset.

Work Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required to use necessary tools.
  • Long periods of standing.
  • Overtime as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $32.00 per hour
